What's the point of conserving water if it's recycled anyway?

I am conservative in my use of water (and electricity and natural gas as well) because the more I use the bigger my bill is. Its all about how big your budget is. For example, it was pointed out recently that the Starbucks coffee place wastes considerable water by allowing their water faucets to remain open and water to continuously flow. The company acknowledged this policy and somehow justified it. Well a wealthy and successful company is within its right to "waste" water, after all they are responsible for paying their own water bill. My pockets aren't as deep so I conserve, in other words I use only as much water as I need. I stopped watering my lawn some time ago.

Well im gonna try to make this short as possible but I need your guys' opinion of this. My mom and dad have been divorced since I was 4 years old (im 16 now). A couple years ago he told me he has been dating this woman for 7 months now. So I met her and she seemed really nice and I was really happy for my dad. My dad and I have always been close but that closeness went away over the past few years. Then the womans daughter and granddaughter moved into my dads house as well. Now my dad works his *** off to support all of them and none of them work. Last year I called my dad up to go with me somewhere just for the heck of it and he blew me off because he had to go eat dinner at his girlfriends daughters house. That hurt me and I cried my eyes out. Ever since then my dad and I havent been close. Everytime I talk to him on the phone he says "someone wants to talk to you" and he hands the phone to his girlfriends granddaughter without even asking me just because she wants to talk to me. They come to my dads side of the family get togethers and my family members talk about them like they are family or something. It sickens me. He keeps asking me to come to his house and hang out for awhile but im not really interested in spending time with his "new family". I mean dont get me wrong im happy for him but like he ignores me sometimes for them and its like they barged in on my family. Its very awkward. If a seedling breaks in half, will it continue to grow?

I recently planted a cotton seed in a pot. It grew about 3 inches tall and had two leaves at the very top. It was wilting a little bit because it has been very cold recently, so I brought it inside. I placed the pot under the cabinet with the sugar because I was going to give it some sugar to help it grow, but as I reached for the sugar I accidentally hit a can of peanuts and it fell directly onto my cotton seedling. It snapped the upper half of the plant in half and my seedling is now just about an inch of stem and no leaves. Would the stem continue to grow and grow new leaves, or is my plant doomed? Also, should I try to replant the upper portion of the plant (the part that broke off) or would that be useless. I am 14 weeks (and 6 days) pregnant now. This is my first pregnancy and my height is 5" 4 inches and my weight is 140 pounds (same as my pre-pregnancy weight). I have been very patient with all of my partners sneaky behaviors... Hello, I have a technical question and would be glad if someone can share some knoledge. I've got problem with a Samsung blackjak 2, that doesn't receive incoming calls properly. Approximately most of the time we attempt to call my cell phone its ringing but i dont recevie the call as if i was not answering my phone and it doesent show dat i have missed calls or anything. What I concluded after some experimenting is that the device receives calls only wen im making a call , but some of the times its very slow in connection when im trying to reach someone and sometimes the calls jus disconnect. The phone is in a area with good reception and doesn't seem to be influenced by caller, network load, surrounding objects etc. Do you think it is a hardware problem or it may be software as well, or is it better if i jus get a new sim card?

Me, my dad and my mom came to America in June 2003. My mom never liked it here and wanted to go back to our country (Czech Republic) My dad and my mom worked but my mom quit because her and my dad didnt "talk enough." Ever since then my dad payed for everything and my mom just sat around. Ever since then they were always arguing. And she's been saying for the past 4 years, "We're going home." But we never do. My brother just moved with us like around May in 2008. He helps my dad pay the rent. Him and his wife were always having problems. Now she moved away and he lives with us. My brother cannot STAND my mom. Right now they were arguing again and guess what she said ... "We're going home" Lmao, and now she spends most of her days in the garage because my brother locked her out of the house. But she still sleeps in the house. My dad goes to the garage and gives her food. And my brother doesn't like that. So he stopped. My dad doesn't like her either but I don't know why he still helps her. I think she's sick. She's been lying around for the past 4 years while my dad is working his off to give us food and a roof over our head? But now my brother is really pissed. He says that he just wants to pound her again against the wall. I'm scared that she will get injured and he will go to jail. After the fight just now, I always get a picture of my mom bleeding out of her head and the cops are here. Oh god, it's just so horrible. Also if my mom goes back home, she will go to jail because she hasn't payed off her stuff. She even admitted. I'm 14 and my life is hell all because of my mom. I can't even stand her. I just don't want any1 to get injured. Or anyone to go to jail. It's a tough situation. I am also here illegally. We overstayed. We came here for like 6 months and we overstayed. Last night I dream that I was going to have a baby and I was due to ashort time, maybe hours or day. Suddendly, it all became a labor room inside of my cousin's house. So I wait. She leaves. I start looking on the other side for my Russian spices. Out of nowhere comes a very mean looking Mediterranean man with dark circles under his eyes and a very intense stare. He just comes up and stares at me from about 20 feet. OK. I am small (five foot four, 118 pounds) and gay. I have dealt with predatory gays before. It's a really big store, so by the time I hit the exit where the guard is standing, Mr. Psycho is no where in sight. I explain the situation. The Mexican guard stares blankly at me. I explain the situation in Spanish. The guard says he will keep an eye out for the guy, and ignores me and goes back tot his conversation with the girl selling lottery tickets and money orders to Mexico behind the booth. So I buy my stuff, pay, and head out the enormous lot in the dark to find my back. Heck. Mr. Psycho is right behind me, materialized out of thin air. "So smart guy, you go to cops, cops no help you, here I am." I can't shoot the guy. I will get in trouble. I turn the cart around, start heading back. He grabs me again by the neck, and starts to slap my head. I scream like a woman. He backs off. I scream again, and flail my skinny arms, and manage to break contact with him. He now looks like he will go berserk. I am now screaming bloody murder and people are staring. He puts his hand under his coat, and I figure he has a gun or a knife, and I break and run. I go back to the front of the store where they have fabric softener and watermelons. Two different armed guards are now all alert. They came out from under the store and about 50 feet into the lot to investigate. They are staring at me. I tell them a crazy man is bothering me, and could they escort me back to my bike. One says he has to stay at the front and guard the watermelons, and strawberries and nopales and fabric softeners out front, but the other one says he will walk me back to my bike. He does so without event, even though now I have a profound headache from stress. The guy leaves me before I put on my helmet and gloves, so I am looking around for Mr. Psycho to reappear. He doesn't so I hop on, and drive off. Sure as heck, right by the drive way exit is Mr. Psycho Dude. I gun the bike to get out of there before he can do anything to me. As I drive off, I wonder how would a normal American man have handled this?

I feel so stupid about this.........?

Ok well obviously everyone is back in school now (being October and all) and everything is already all messed up but I think I might be making my life a little more complicated right now. There's this new teacher in our school (which just happens to be my homeroom teacher). I didn't like him at first because he seemed really strict and (not trying to be mean or anything but) really weird too. Just recently I think I started to like him! I feel so stupid liking a TEACHER! I feel like I'm six again having a crush on one of my brother's friends! Obviously I'm not six (I'm 14 1/2) but this is starting to creep me out! This teacher is only 10 years older than me (24) so it's not like I'm crushing on some 50 year old guy! Well anyways (sorta got sidetracked) my question is, is there any way to make these feelings go away?!?! I hate it because when I'm around him I start feeling all weird and stuff. I know I've heard people say "you can't control who you like" but I'm trying to find a way around this! I REALLY like him and I think if this continues it might start affecting my school work too! I have gray hair and I'm a teenager. 14,actually. I don't actually mind having gray hair because I'm grateful that I have hair. I just think it's hereditary thing from my mother and that's what I tell people, but they still make fun of me. I think my gray hair is caused by stress or a genetic disposition, but I just think it's hereditary since my mother has it. I'm tired of people making fun of me and acting all surprised when I have gray hair. I find it ridiculous and absurd when people my age find out that I have gray hair and make fun of me for it and act like it's the apocalypse because I have them. I can't help but be bothered by this and I have dyed my hair plenty of times before (just black, though.) to cover up the gray, but it never lasts more than a month or more. Why Does My Computer Crash After About 10/15 Mins?

My computer boots up normally and then goes for approximately 10/15 mins (if i am lucky). The case fan and CPU fan both turm off and the cpu gets hotter. Eventually the computer just turns off presumably because its too hot, does anyone know why and how to fix it? I have replaced the fans and PSU already but neither have any effect.

This photograph was on the cover of a book called GIVING. Eversince i have been trying my best interpretations to arrive at the numerous ways in which the mother bird was giving to its child by feeding it with its beak. Of one of the final interpretations that i have reached is that 'Even the act of allowing someone to do something for us because it makes that person happy is an act of giving because it gives a happiness to the person through a sense of contribution.
