I'm reading a book called 'Bend Sister,' by Vladimir Nabokov. It's about 280 pages and satirizes an anti-intellectual society. I'm only 50 pages in, but so far it's interesting, witty, and well-paced. To my knowledge it's not been made into a movie. :)
