What to seve with almond ice cream?

my nan wants me to cook a desert for her and some family who she has invited over she wants to serve it with almond ice cream and almond praline though so i need something that will go with the ice cream. since it is ice cream i was thinking something hot although cold suggestions would be good. she does not want anything chocolate as she prefers fruit but she is not to keen on the idea of strawberries either when i suggested it. i was thinking maybe a frangipane or a bake-well tart any other ideas? what fruit goes well with almond ?
