About chemistry. In my old Chem quiz, there was a question that asked to write the ionic equations for the products at the cathode and anode for the electrolysis of molten strontuim chloride. I got the first part right, Sr^+2+2 electrons gives us Sr. But in the second part, I put Cl2 gives us 2Cl^- +2 electrons and it was wrong[at the anode] Where's the mistake?
