Why were republicans against General Motors getting bailed out by Barack Obama?

We spent 1.2 Trillion dollars on Iraq alone. Baling them out, we've bailed out AIG and Wallstreet for 700 Billion dollars. So Republicans don't want to save American Companys like General Motors but are cool with their tax dollars going to put hospital's, schools , and roads, infrastructure for Iraq? United states tax tollars are covering Iraq's citizens Unlimited universal healthcare during our involvement. Any Iraq citizen can get up and go to a hospital on the United states dollar. Republicans are fine with that?
