Has Michael Phelps ever been tested for drugs ?

Before anyone has a go at me I am NOT suggesting that he is. I am NOT trying to take any of the glory from what appears to be the worlds greatest swimmer. The only reason for my question is because he is so famous the drug testers would be to embarred to ask him to take a test.Does anyone know if any drug tester has been brave enough to ask him and if so when ?
