What's the point of conserving water if it's recycled anyway?

I am conservative in my use of water (and electricity and natural gas as well) because the more I use the bigger my bill is. Its all about how big your budget is. For example, it was pointed out recently that the Starbucks coffee place wastes considerable water by allowing their water faucets to remain open and water to continuously flow. The company acknowledged this policy and somehow justified it. Well a wealthy and successful company is within its right to "waste" water, after all they are responsible for paying their own water bill. My pockets aren't as deep so I conserve, in other words I use only as much water as I need. I stopped watering my lawn some time ago.
